Dan Lamar Ripplinger, 89, of Cornville, died Sept. 13.

Born in Ogden, Utah, he built a home in Cornville in the 1980s and joined a dental practice in Cottonwood.

He was a paratrooper in post-WWII Japan.

He is survived by his wife Carole; brothers Don, Leon and Mark; sisters Edith, Jeanette and Diane; children Kristen, Gregg, Danny and Laurie and their spouses; stepchildren Scott and Heather and their spouses; grandchildren; extended family and friends.

A celebration of life was held.
