Gosar speaks to Mingus voters

Published:

U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar [R-District 4] stopped over on this side of the mountain in Cottonwood last week to talk to some of his base in the Fourth Congressional District about the state of the current Republican leadership and recent disagreements between the legislative and executive branches.

Gosar spoke to a meeting of the Mingus Mountain Republicans March 10 at the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 7400.

Gosar formerly represented the First District after defeating Democrat incumbent U.S. Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick [D-District 1] in 2010.

Gosar won a seat in the Fourth Congressional District in 2012 after the new district was created through redistricting.

The recent argument over President Barack Obama’s executive actions on immigration was something Gosar was more than willing to talk about.
