Robert David Johnson, 81, of Camp Verde, died April 8.
He was born in Ashland, Ky., and played football for Russell High School. He loved the great outdoors, especially hiking and camping.
He was predeceased by his parents, Ned and Inez.
He is survived by his sister, Carol Gwynne of Sedona.
His ashes will be buried at Rude Cemetery in Flatwoods, Ky.
