Yavapai County law enforcement agencies are asking for help in locating fugitive David Scott Ornelas Jr.
After a traffic stop conducted by the Cottonwood Police Department, Ornelas was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and two counts of taking the identity of another.
In August 2020 he pleaded guilty to these charges and was placed on intensive probation supervision. Ornelas has violated the terms and agreements of his probation and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.
Ornelas is 39 years old, 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has multiple tattoos. He has prior addresses in Flagstaff and the Verde Valley area.
If you provide information that leads to the arrest of Ornelas, you could a $1,000 cash reward.
