Pamela June Oxendale, 70, of Cottonwood, died Dec. 14.
She graduated from Arizona State University and was a public school teacher and novelist.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas; sons, Michael [Desirae] and Matthew; brothers: Doug [Lori] and Rick; sister, Joan [Ron]; grandsons, Conner, Micah, Ethan, Carter, Bryce, Luca and Grayson.
A memorial service will be held at Verde Community Church at 102 S. Willard Street in Cottonwood on Saturday, Jan. 4, at 1 p.m.
