Wills brings her passion for food to Main Street Inn

Published:

Lynne Wills hopes to see Main Street Camp Verde get some more traffic.

Not because Wills necessarily wants to have to wait a bit longer to cross the street but because she would like to see more business in the area.

On her end, Wills is certainly doing her part.

Wills and a crew of folks have been working for months to get one of Camp Verde’s oldest buildings ready for business.

The two-story Montezuma Inn has been a fixture in the downtown area for more than a century.

The place first opened around the turn of the 20th century and has been home to several different businesses over the years.

Wills hopes to open the newest one possibly as soon as this Thursday, Sept. 18.

“If everything goes well,” Wills said. “Fingers crossed, roadblocks are everywhere.”
