George Vrieling

George Vrieling, 83, of Sedona, died July 2.
A resident for 26 years, he volunteered with the Sedona Red Rock Fire Department and retired as a captain.
He is survived by his wife Shirley; children, Jeffrey [Kim] Vrieling, Timothy Vrieling and Sharon [Vance] Ackerman; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Betty Jo Vrieling; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be held Saturday, July 26, at 10:30 a.m. at Mingus View Pres-byterian Church in Prescott Valley.
