John Lamb to replace Harry Cipriano as town magistrate

Published:

The Camp Verde Town Council has signed off on hiring Judge John Lamb to serve as the town’s new chief magistrate, the top official who oversees the Camp Verde Municipal Court.

Lamb will take over the position from Judge Harry Cipriano, who will be retiring at the end of August.

Cipriano was originally set to exit earlier, but the timing didn’t work out, according to the court office.

The Town Council extended Cipriano’s contract to help with the transition.

Lamb currently serves as a judge in Navajo County Superior Court District III and has worked as a judge with that county’s superior court for 15 years.
