Candace Arlene (Strong) Gonzales, 71, of Cottonwood, died May 13.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband Joseph Anthony Gonzales; son John William Gonzales; sister, Anvel Velvet Strong/Moore, brother
Craig [Jane] Strong; and many nieces, nephews and their families.
There will be no funeral services. A memorial service is being planned for later this year.

She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. A fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
