A Town of Camp Verde veterinary clinic has been working with a cat rescue out of Flagstaff to make sure that some cats get medical treatment and, hopefully, new homes.
The Ark Cat Sanctuary mainly finds cats in the Flagstaff area and works to find them a place to live.
While a lot of attention is given to the idea of adopting dogs at shelters, there is somewhat less attention given to cats given the fact that there are so many strays.
The fact is that there are often cats up for adoption.
