Girls soccer team on track for playoffs

Published:

The girls of the Mingus Union High School soccer are proving just how mighty the Marauders are on the field as the season progresses.

The Marauders [6-3] most recently beat the Page Sand Devils [3-6-1] 8-0 on Saturday, Jan. 5, and the Coconino Panthers [4-7] 2-0 on Monday, Jan. 7. Both games were played in front of a home crowd at Mingus Union.

“The girls played very good,” MUHS Head Coach Buddy Rhoades said. “They moved the ball around well and kept the possession of the ball.”
