He is preceded in death by his grandson, Joshua Mullins.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Norma Lewis Mullins; two children, Cathy and her husband William Hawkins, and Michael and his wife Shelly Mullins; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
