Diaper drive helps low-income families

Diapers are expensive; there’s no getting around it. Providing clean diapers for a baby can be a financial burden, particularly for single mothers or other low-income families.

Residents around Yavapai County are being given the opportunity to help thanks to First Things First, a program with offices around the state dedicated to fostering early childhood development and health, funded after approval from voters in a 2006 ballot initiative.

Now through Sunday, May 13, the organization is holding a diaper drive throughout Yavapai County.
