Graduation night revelry on course

Published:

Mingus Union High School parents and seniors alike are looking forward to graduation night Friday, May 25.

For seniors, it will mark a chance to celebrate their accomplishments and their entry into adulthood.

For parents — especially the volunteer parents putting on the annual all-night event Operation Graduation — it will mark the end of a month of planning and fundraising to make sure their kids can celebrate in an all-night drug- and alcohol-free party.

“It’s a safe, fun place to go after graduation, and I’m really thankful to the parents for organizing the event,” MUHS Principal Tamara Addis said.
