He was born Oct. 15, 1939, in Camp Verde.
He was preceded in death by his son Deric.

He is survived by his daughters Paula Acton and Holly Buck; his son Jimmy; his brothers Walt Murdock and Joe Murdock; his sisters Lavonna McCracken, Kathleen Reid and Sharlene Sammeli; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 1 at the VFW in Camp Verde.
