Michael Anthony Ortiz, 60, formerly of Cottonwood, died Sept. 2 in Peoria.
A 1980 graduate of Mingus Union High School, he was a member of the Carpenters Local 1912 for over 40 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother Carmelita Ortiz.
He is survived by his father, Tony Ortiz of Cottonwood; children Angel [Brie Hutchins] Ortiz of Cottonwood, Jesse [Candice] Ortiz of Cottonwood and Tara Ortiz of Jerome; sisters, Catherine [Mike] Yorba- Liggett and Rose [Michael] Ortiz-Unruh, both of Cottonwood; and six grandchildren.
Services have been held.
