Peggy G. Selden, of Cottonwood, died July 28.
Born in Moorhead, Minn., she graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelors in political science and earned a post-baccalaureate in education from the University of Arizona. An author, she worked as a medical transcriber, court reporter and sixth-grade science teacher.
She is survived by her husband, David; mother Darlene; sister Penny; brothers Dave and Terry and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held Friday, Aug. 19 at 10 a.m. at Verde Valley Christian Church.
