Michael Wayne Campbell, 74, died Jan. 3 in Longview, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War, earning the Bronze Star. He volunteered for 18 years with the Verde Search and Rescue in the Sedona area for Yavapai County.
He is survived by his son Duncan Campbell; daughter Duana [Todd] Stewart; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother William [Kathleen] Campbell; sister Catherine McPherson; nephews and nieces; and friends.
