Bruce H. Powell, 83, of Lake Montezuma, died Jan. 2.
He managed trading posts for Babbitt Brothers Trading Company on the Navajo and Hopi nations. He owned and operated Long Valley Service and Clint’s Well gas station in Happy Jack.
He is survived by his wife Delna; siblings Kenneth, Phyllis and Myrna [Buzz]; children Sheila, Raquel [Rich], DuShane, and DuWayne [Sharon]; 12 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family requests donations in his name to The Lustgarten Foundation supporting pancreatic cancer research.
