A stabbing was reported on Monday, July 20, off Pumphouse Road in Cornville, Cottonwood Police Department confirmed, with the call going out to law enforcement at 5:30 p.m.
“CPD officers were responding to assist Yavapai County Sheriff’s Deputies at their request, however prior to our arrival deputies were able to arrest the subject,” CPD Sgt. Ryan Gibson said.
YCSO spokesman Paul Wick did not respond to multiple requests over several days for information from Larson Newspapers by the print deadline.
