Donald G. Wolfgarth, a resident of Cottonwood since 1999, died May 10. He was born in a suburb of Chicago, joined the Air Force at 17 and was stationed at Selfridge Air Force Base in Harrison Township, Michigan, where he met his wife Lynn Goeschel. He worked for Ford motor Company for 32 years, volunteered for veterans affairs and the chamber of commerce and enjoyed country line dancing.
He was predeceased by Lynn Goeschel in 1993, and Margeret “Peggy” Babin in 2019.
He is survived by his brother Bill [Karen]; sisters Sharon [Bob] and Gail; sons Duane, Derek and Darin; stepdaughter Danille, 10 grandchildren, four great grandchildren and one on the way.
