Geraldine Mae [Richards] “Gerry” Bird, 94, died on April 6. Born in Clarkdale, she lived across the Verde Valley and Sedona.
Surviving Bird are her children: Donna Green [Tom]; Harold Bird [Deanna]; Scott Bird [Kathy]; her grandchildren: D. K. Green [Aileen], Terra Shanks [Donnie], Lauren Burdorf [Steve], Kendall Streeter [Tony]; and her great grandchildren: Searlait, Devlin, Ultan and Greyson Green; Kenlee, Rylee and D. J. Shanks, Braxton, Bennett, Harper and Sloane Burdorf and Aubree and Lukas Streeter. She is also survived by a step granddaughter Drue [Cole] Baginsky and daughter, Avery.
She is predeceased by her husband, Don.
The family will observe her services privately. In memory of Bird, the family suggests contributions to either Northern Arizona Hospice, or any of the Verde Valley, Cornville or Sedona historical societies.
