After assisting the Camp Verde Marshal’s Office for the last 15 years on Nov. 20, longtime volunteer Neal Lanning retired to return to his home state of Washington to be closer to his family.

“Neal has been a valued member of CVMO … generously donating his time, knowledge, and heart to our agency and, by extension, to the entire Town of Camp Verde,” CVMO posted to social media on Nov. 19. “His quiet dedication and steady presence have supported our staff, strengthened our services, and positively impacted countless members of our community.”

“Neal has been an integral part of our team, and we recently had a wonderful time celebrating his accomplishments and the countless hours he has devoted to supporting our mission,” CVMO wrote. “His commitment, kindness, and willingness to help wherever needed have made a lasting impact on all of us.”
