The 100+ Women Who Care Sedona–Verde Valley Chapter voted Rosie’s Rescue Ranch, of Camp Verde, the chosen recipient of over $14,000 at its fall Giving Circle on Nov. 3. Dr. Cinda Rajkovic, executive director and co-founder, accepted the honor.

Rosie’s Rescue Ranch assists animals and pets that have been abandoned or have long-term medical issues. As a veterinarian, Rajkovic has been rescuing animals since 2007. Her surgical skills and use of stem cell procedures saves many animals. All donations go to caring for llamas, horses and birds to cats and dogs.

Sedona Recycles and Humane Society of Sedona were also finalists and received some checks from members.

The group has distributed $205,000 among 15 nonprofits to new and existing projects from 145 members. To join, contact Carol Wallen at roycar80@gmail.com.
