Rev. Jackie Ray Pease, 93, of Cottonwood, died on Oct. 10. Pease was born in Roaring Fork, Virginia, on Aug. 24, 1932.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Joyce Pease, of Cottonwood, and three children: Son Paul W. Pease, of Cottonwood; daughter Debi Murphy, of Oakland, Maryland; and daughter Jane Lindenstruth, of Cottonwood.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 11 a.m. at the Verde Valley Church of the Nazarene located on SR 260 in Cottonwood. A private internment will take place later.
