Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office is investigating shooting in Cottonwood

At approximately 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29 Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office Deputies responded to an incident involving two vehicles and three subjects that were involved in an altercation and shooting on Del Rio Drive at Highway 260 in Cottonwood.

Del Rio Drive is closed between AZ-260 and S Wranglers Way in Cottonwood.

YCSO detectives and evidence technicians are on investigating scene. No further information will be shared at this time, with an update planned for Thursday, Oct. 30.
