Zach Allen Stafford, 51, formerly of Camp Verde, died Aug. 8 in Little Swan Lake, Minnesota.
A graduate of Camp Verde High School, he worked as a Prescott National Forest wildland firefighter and served on the Blue Ridge Hotshot crew. He later worked as an electrician in Arizona and Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Wehle; daughters Lily [Waidus] Stafford-Rose and Savannah Stafford; parents Laurie and Bill Stafford; grandfather Charles [Deloris] Allen; sister Keli [Darin] Stafford-Huggs; two granddaughters; and two nephews.
A private memorial will be held in Rye, Colorado.
