In preparation for the upcoming Verde Valley Wine Festival event on Saturday, May 10, Riverfront Park will be closed to the public beginning on Thursday, May 8. The closure will remain in effect through Sunday, May 11, to allow for cleanup after the event.
The public is asked to not enter the parking lot and field by the playground as the festival setup will be taking
place in these areas, and to use amenities that will remain open such as the skate park,
disc golf, skate rink, and other public parks such as the Cottonwood Kid’s Park and Garrison Park.
