March 10, 2025, marks the one-year anniversary of the death of James “Jim” Bernet, 81, of Cottonwood.
He was predeceased by his siblings, Marian and Fritz.
Born in Pittsburgh, his family moved to California in 1951 and he worked for Sears before and after his time in the U.S. Army.
He moved to Cottonwood in 2006 to be close to his brother, Fritz, and his family. He enjoyed all of the family functions and loved his great-greatnephew and nieces.
