Arlene E. [Hennig] Christensen, 104, of Cottonwood, formerly of Lake Montezuma, died Aug. 15.
She loved children, being with friends, laughing at funny stories, golf, watching Husker football and cooking up a good soup, and was an avid letter writer.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frost; parents, Gus and Minnie; and two brothers and five sisters.
She is survived by her friends Diane and Barry Dunham of Cottonwood, and 10 nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned.
