Margaret “Margie” Stephens, of Cottonwood, died June 3.
A school teacher for 38 years, she was married for 55 years and had two children and three grandchildren. Her passion was helping children learn to read.
A memorial service will be held on June 29 at 10 a.m. at the Journey Church, 750 E. Mingus Ave, Cottonwood. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, Verde Valley chapter, or to a local church that has an active AWANA program.
