Andrzej Szechter, 86, of Cottonwood, died June 15.
Born in Warsaw, Poland, he was a Holocaust survivor and physician. He published works in Ophthalmology Journal and the American Journal of Ophthalmology. He enjoyed tennis, loved cats and dogs and loved watching basketball.
He is survived by his son, Robert [Judy]; daughter, Elizabeth; brother, Romek; and grandchild, Talya.
