Q: Why are you qualified to serve on the council?
A: “Currently on council and have been re-elected for several years. Past years have served as elected treasurer and then vice chairwoman of Northern Arizona Council of Governments, served several years as an elected trustee on the Arizona Municipal Risk Retention Pool board, volunteer for town events. One of the volunteers who worked to incorporate the Town of Camp Verde [in 1986].”
Q: How would you help advise the completion of the Camp Verde Sports Complex?
A: “Continue the current focus on completing ballfields and getting concession buildings and restrooms completed and fully ready for next season. Continue to search for grants and donations for Park Complex.”
Q: How do you plan to balance growth while maintaining Camp Verde’s rural and Western lifestyle?
A: “Focus on our priceless history and location and honor our established character areas and zoning.”
Q: What is your vision for economic development in Camp Verde, especially along the State Route 260 corridor?
A: “To work diligently with interested, fully-vetted developers to encourage and obtain the best services and revenues for the taxpayers.”
Q: What kind of direction would you give to the incoming town manager?
A: “Continue as [I am] currently doing by participating in council meetings, getting acquainted with town businesses and owners, becoming a ‘good neighbor’ to all.”
