Judith Day, 85, of Cottonwood, died Nov. 5.
Born in Independence, Mo., she moved to Phoenix and eventually Cottonwood. She volunteered with several organizations in Cottonwood.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Gary.
She is survived by her children, Kelly DuPree of Lenexa, Kan. and Santos Reveles, of Phoenix; sister, Patty Hamilton; nephews, Rick Hamilton, Doug Hamilton and Mark Hamilton; and many more second nieces and nephews.
There will be celebrations of life in Phoenix and Cottonwood, with dates to be announced later.

She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. A fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
