Thee Arizona Department of Transportation advises drivers to plan for daytime lane restrictions on Interstate 17 roughly between Camp Verde and the junction with State Route 179 from Tuesday, July 11, through Thursday, July 13. Drivers should be prepared to come to a complete stop when approaching and driving through the work zone.
Drivers should allow for extra travel time while the following daytime restrictions are in place from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m.:
- North- and southbound I-17 will be alternately narrowed to one lane between northbound mileposts 294 and 297 on Tuesday, July 11; between northbound mileposts 297 and 299 on Wednesday, July 12; and between southbound mileposts 291 to290 and 296 to 294 on Thursday, July 13.
A 16-foot width restriction will be in place. The speed limit will be reduced in the work zone.
