Craig E. Hoffbauer, of Cottonwood, died Dec. 8, 2022.
A graduate of Des Moines Osteopathic College and the College of Chinese Acupuncture, he practiced osteopathic medicine and acupuncture, receiving many professional honors. An award-winning billiards player, he served on the Cottonwood City Council, coached soccer at Mingus Union High School and served on the MUHS Board.
He is survived by his wife, Janice; son, Wyng; daughter, Kyla; grandson, Nash; three stepchildren; and two sisters.
Services have been held. Memorials are suggested to the American Osteopathic Foundation or Hope for Warriors.

She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. A fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
