Shirley Mae Canther, 87, of Cottonwood, died Jan. 27.
She held a pilot’s license and later managed a community service retail center in Florida. She loved swimming, snorkeling, shelling, pottery, gardening, birding, crafting, Pathfinders, mission work, family and friends. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry, and sister, Patricia Jensenius.
She is survived by her sons, Dennis [Kristi] and David [Sherri]; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
