Almond Otis Peterson, 99, of Webster, S.D., and Cottonwood, died Jan. 25.
He enjoyed traveling, putting together puzzles and socializing.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlys; grandson, Nevin Amegashie; eight brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by his children, Paul [Darlene], Pam [John] Korn and Gloria [Steve] Short of Cottonwood; Clarice Amegashie and Karla [Monte] Reimer of Camp Verde; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 11, at 1 p.m. at Spirit of Joy Church in Clarkdale.
