Thomas M. Wamsley, 74, of Cottonwood, died Dec. 4. 
He worked at the Bureau of Reclamation, and was an ordained Buddhist monk. He enjoyed researching his family tree, hiking, spending time outdoors, reading and watching football.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and brother-in-law.
He is survived by his daughter Shannon [Jonathan] House; granddaughter McKayla House; two sisters; ex-wife Lynn Gammel; two stepsons; and a sister-in-law.
A private family ceremony will be held. Contributions are suggested to the Verde Valley Senior Center for Meals on Wheels.
