Gilbert Ortiz, 81, of Rimrock, died Nov. 22.
Born in Flagstaff, he moved to Rimrock and enjoyed the nearby creek and deer. An avid hunter and fisherman, he also loved watching sports and was a devout Catholic.
He was preceded in death by his brother and daughter Michelle.
He is survived by his partner of 10 years, Anita; her children and grandchildren; children Michael, Gilbert Jr. and Denise and their children; brothers and sisters and their extended families.
