Abbie Swavee, 38, of Cottonwood, died Nov. 16.
An alumna of Mingus Union High School and Yavapai College, where she was employed, she enjoyed camping, traveling, spending time in Mexico, and being with family.
She is survived by her mother, Constance Gilmore, and stepfather Michael Durgain; sisters Shauna Swavee and Andrea [Joshua] Riffel; nephews Ethen and Douglas Riffel; stepbrother Liam Durgain; and father Omer Swavee.
A private family service will be held later. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Yavapai College Foundation General Scholarship Fund.
