Janet Blanche Young, of Cottonwood, died Nov. 14.
She taught elementary school in California and later retired to Cottonwood. She was active with the Cottonwood Lions Club and the P.E.O. Sisterhood.
She was preceded in death by her brother Warren Campbell, and son Donald.
She is survived by husband Robert; sons Gregory and Scott; and four grandchildren.
No services will be held; a private scattering of ashes will include family only. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be directed to the P.E.O. Educational Loan Fund at donations.peointernational.org.
