Cheryl Ann Ross, 87, of Cornville, died Aug. 27.
Born in Cresco, Iowa, she grew up on a family-run nursery. She worked in real estate, owned a subcontracting firm and became a Master Gardener, advising community members on trees, lawns, and gardens. She enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking, and spending time in a cabin or at the beach with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, a brother and daughter, Sherry Toomey.
She is survived by son Dennis; grandchildren, Amy Hickox, Jason Willis, Dan Ross, Megan Crocker and Paige Ross; and one great-grandchild, Jordan Hickox.
