Alexia La’Chey Haney, 19, of the Yavapai-Apache Reservation in Clarkdale, died Aug. 12.
Born in Dallas, Texas, she was a senior at Mingus Union High School. She enjoyed arts and crafts, and her family. She was active in Native American club and the Yavapai-Apache Youth Council Program.
She is survived by her mother Angela Honwytewa, of Dickinson, ND; father Daniel Haney of Phoenix; sisters; Brent. Honwytewa, Sarah Williams, Novale Honwytewa and Bella. Haney; brothers, Hayden Yellowhair, Carmelo Burny, D’Angelo Burny and an unborn sibling.
Services have been held.
