Dash Allen Cody Cheatham, 31, of Cottonwood, died Aug. 22.
A graduate of Mingus Union High School, Sergeant Cheatham served honorably in the U.S. Army from 2008 to 2016 and received numerous awards and medals.
He is survived by his wife, Gianina; son, Braxton; daughter, Isabella; sisters Jessica Cheatham and Donna Cheatham; father-in-law Gary SanGiovanni; mother-in-law Janice SanGiovanni; three brothers-in-law, grandmother, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.
A military honors ceremony will be held Sunday, Sept. 18 at 2 p.m. at C3 of Cottonwood.
