Elvira Mathews, 84, of Camp Verde, died July 25.
Born in Germany, she married a GI after World War II and moved to America.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mathews.
She is survived by her children, Karin [Ken] Langer, Tony Mathews, and James [Shelly] Mathews; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; three sisters; and extended family members and friends in Germany and America.
Services will be held Saturday, Aug. 13, at 10 a.m. at Desert Willow First Assembly of God Church. Graveside service will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.
