Melvin Merril Jensen, 87, of Camp Verde, died June 16.
He worked as a heavy equipment operator and later operated convenience stores. He built houses and painted landscapes.
He was preceded in death by his sisters Margeruite, Catherine and Dorothy.
He is survived by his wife Ruth Jensen; sons Melvin [Maria] Jensen Jr., Bruce [Babette] Jensen and Kenneth [Susan] Jensen; brother James Jensen; sister Marianna Gardener; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, July 9 at 11 a.m. at Parkside Church in Camp Verde.
