Ian Joseph Martin, 37, died June 1.
A Merchant Marine, Maritime Engineer working on the Oregon Responder, he assisted with the extensive oil clean up in the Gulf of Mexico following the Deep-Water Horizon tragedy and several other ocean oil spills. He enjoyed Marvel comics, building models and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his mother, Sue Martin of Cottonwood; father Timothy [Debbie] Martin of Rimrock; brother Matthew Martin; sister Nikki [Travis] Schlup; brothers Michael Collins and Jason Collins; and nieces and nephews.
Services have been held.
