Margie Marie DeVeau, 68, of Clarkdale, died May 3.
After earning a degree in nursing, she worked in Critical Care, Burn Trauma and Emergency Departments, and also served as a mentor to countless others in the nursing and healthcare professions. She was an avid reader and devoted to her maltipoo, Suzy Q.
She is survived by her son, Christopher Wheeler; daughter, Theresa Wheeler; granddaughter, Lily Wheeler; and siblings, Edward J. Puschaver, Elona Gortz, Irene Hackworth and Carol Puschaver.

Jo Page has worked at Larson newspapers as typesetter since 2010. She holds a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and worked in corporate communications in insurance and health care for several years, handling marketing and public relations duties. A fur-mom to two cats and three dogs, she is semi-retired.
