Roger Burton Every

Roger Every, of Cottonwood, died April 29 in Phoenix.
After serving in the U.S. Navy, he worked in circuses throughout the United States and Canada, caring for and training elephants. He drove a stagecoach for the Carson City Tourist Attraction, and created a circus museum on the Altamont County, NY Fairgrounds.
After retiring to Cottonwood, he enjoyed researching, writing and volunteering at the Clemenceau Museum.
He is survived by his friends, Reyna Marin, her children Zahyra and Alonso, and Debbie Frederiksen.
